Career development: Brownsword Group gets Royal approval

The Brownsword Group has been awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise in Innovation after her Majesty the Queen graciously approved the Prime Minister's recommendation.

A month after celebrating its 21st year in business, and a week after being notified as a finalist in The British Insurance Awards, Brownsword said it was honoured to be the recipient of the highest official UK awards for British businesses, the most prestigious award that can be bestowed on any UK company.

Operating on a nationwide basis, with international experience, Brownsword provides surveillance solutions to assist in the accurate settlement of personal injury claims.

The firm said what makes this award even more exceptional is the recent adverse publicity that has been directed at the insurance industry. It added: "Although The Brownsword Group have maintained the highest levels of ethics and compliance in the production of all our services, the industry has received, at times, unwarranted attention which has not been assisted by the excessive delay and confusion with regard to licensing."

Managing director Anthony Heaton said: "We are overwhelmed to have received this level of recognition; it is testament to the hard work and dedication of my team and the board. It reinforces our commitment to continually developing new innovative ways to combat insurance fraud.
