Penny Black’s Insurance Week - 22 January
Penny has seen some pretty poor adverts for insurance in the past.
She’s been tempted to take a shotgun to London Zoo to meet the meerkats – but reports suggest US firm Esurance may be setting a new bar. The firm is rumoured to have recruited Lindsey Lohan – two DUIs, Scary Movie 5, and other misdemeanours too numerous to mention – to shoot a new advert in Long Beach, California. According to celebrity gossip website TMZ, Lohan may have been lined up for an Esurance advert during this year’s Super Bowl, set for 1 February. Penny only hopes Esurance has cover for any unscheduled delays in filming with the notoriously unreliable actress.
