Bradford man who staged accidents receives suspended sentence

A fraudster who deliberately slipped on a wet bakery bag in a Lidl supermarket so he could make a bogus personal injury claim to AIG worth £10,000 has received a suspended prison sentence.

Waheed Iqbal, 36, of Hollings Road in Bradford, was earlier convicted of fraud, following an investigation by the City of London Police's Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department.
