Brown joins RSA board
RSA UK chief executive Adrian Brown has joined the group board as an executive director.
Mr Brown has been in his role has since September 2008 and currently sits on the group executive committee, reporting to RSA group CEO Andy Haste.
Having worked at RSA since 1989, he has held various senior management roles across the group, including UK chief operating officer and UK director of personal lines.
RSA chairman John Napier said: “Adrian has been with RSA for over 20 years and he brings with him extensive experience and understanding of the industry. I am delighted to welcome him to the board.”
Mr Brown added: “I’m pleased to be joining the board where we are all focused on continuing to drive RSA forward.”
RSA said the appointment is an additional position on the board, which also comprises Mr Napier; Mr Haste; Edward Lea, senior independent director; George Culmer, chief financial officer; Simon Lee, executive director; Noel Harwerth, non-executive director; Malcolm Le May, non-executive director; John Maxwell, non-executive director; Johanna Waterous, non-executive director.
