Three new board members for Ferma
Three new members have been elected to serve on the Federation of European Risk Management Associations (Ferma) board.
Helle Friberg of Danish association Darim; Igor Mikhaylov of Russian association Rusrisk; and Arnout van der Veer from Dutch association Narim, will serve from now until June 2014.
Ferma president Peter den Dekker, paid tribute to the valuable contribution of two long-serving directors who have stood down from the Ferma board: Marie-Gemma Dequae of the Belgian association Belrim and Paul Taylor of the UK association Airmic.
Ms Dequae was Mr den Dekker's immediate predecessor as president of Ferma, and Mr Taylor is this year's Airmic president.
Mr den Dekker said: "The election of Igor Mikhaylov from Rusrisk shows that Ferma represents the risk managers of a very large part of the European business community. I am looking forward to working with the new team members."
