Met Office warns that latest volcanic ash cloud could hit UK tomorrow
Another volcanic ash cloud from Iceland is expected to reach parts of the UK by the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to the Met Office.
The Grimsvotn volcano eruption comes a year after ash from the Eyjafjallajokull volcano (pictured) caused huge disruption.
The BBC reports that the Met Office claims it does not mean there will definitely be airspace closures, but makes flight disruption more likely.
The Met Office, which runs Europe's Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre, was yesterday reported as saying there was more uncertainty over this eruption because weather was much more changeable.
Icelandic air traffic control has closed Keflavik airport, the country's main hub, and cancelled all domestic flights.
