AIR revises Japan estimate to $30bn
Catastrophe modelling firm AIR Worldwide has lowered its insured loss estimate for the Japanese earthquake from up to $35m (£21.7bn) to $30m.
Last fortnight AIR predicted that the losses from the quake could be between $15bn and $35bn but has now cut its forecast to between $20bn and $30bn.
The firm revised its estimates after assessing
