The British Insurance Awards 2011 are now open for entries

The British Insurance Awards 2011 are now officially open for entries. These prestigious awards, for the entire UK general insurance industry, will be presented at the Royal Albert Hall on the evening of the 6th July.

The awards attract a huge number of entries every year from a wide selection of companies, large and small, from reinsurers, insurers and brokers through to service providers, loss adjusters and law firms. They provide an excellent opportunity to showcase top class performance and innovation within the general insurance industry.

The British Insurance Awards logo and coveted trophy are widely recognised as a sign of genuine achievement, winning one will set you apart from your competitors, and is seen as a tangible demonstration to your customer that you have something special to offer.

There is no entry fee, and the British Insurance Awards are judged - on merit alone - by a judging panel consisting of market experts and practitioners, analysts, consultants, and industry commentators.

A list of the 2011 categories can be found on the British Insurance Awards website, and entries can be easily submitted online.

Group editor in chief Ant Gould also offers some top tips on how to make a successful entry.
