Trust dips in financial advisers

A survey by Reader's Digest has found that trust in financial advisers has decreased by 4% since 2007, with 36% of respondents stating advisers were trusted 'a great deal' or 'quite a lot'.

Advisers were just one of a number of professions to experience a fall. Trust was higher, at 39%, among the under 40s than among the customers aged 60 plus (33%).
