Hiscox chairman Childs to retire
Hiscox chairman Robert Childs will retire and step down from the insurer’s board later this year, ending a 37-year career at the insurer.
Childs, pictured, joined Hiscox in 1986 and served as the active underwriter of Hiscox Lloyd’s Syndicate 33 between 1993 and 2005 before becoming group chief underwriting officer.
