Lloyd's Choir is celebrating its centenary over the course of its 2022 to 2023 season. The celebrations will include a gala concert at the Merchant Tailors' Hall, London on 8 December, which will take place 100 years almost to the day after the very first performance by the choir, at the Royal Exchange in December 1922. Joanne Staphnill, who sits on the committee for Lloyd's Choir, explains what can be expected from the event.

Lloyd’s Choir is a City institution. It provides a soundtrack to City life, making music in and around Lloyd’s of London and the insurance market in EC3, and singing at public and private events
