Cold calling broker fined £70,000
The Information Commissioner's Office has fined insurance broker Our Vault £70,000, after the company made 55,534 unsolicited marketing calls.
Over one 3.5 month period, an average of 37% of those it called were registered to the Telephone Preference Service and therefore not meant to be contacted by cold callers without consent.
