European Commission backs IDD delay
The European Commission has ratified proposals put forward by the Financial Conduct Authority to postpone the application date of the Insurance Distribution Directive.
The move follows a call from the UK financial watchdog to delay European Union rules to increase protection for consumers when they buy insurance.
