Ageas office closures result in 430 redundancies

Ageas UK will close its Stoke-on-Trent and Portsmouth offices resulting in around 430 redundancies, following a 45-day consultation.

The company said that its decision reflected reduced customer demand for buying insurance over the phone, as well as improvements in efficiency resulting from investment in technology and streamlining
