AIG expects $3bn hit from Q3 losses
US-headquartered global insurer AIG has announced preliminary estimates for natcat losses in the third quarter of 2017.
AIG expects to report third quarter 2017 pre-tax natcat losses net of reinsurance of $2.9bn (£2.2bn) to $3.1bn, and between $1.9bn to $2bn of losses after-tax.
