State of emergency in Florida as Hurricane Irma approaches

Florida governor Rick Scott has declared a state of emergency for every county in the state as powerful storm Hurricane Irma approaches.

Irma has been upgraded to a category 4 storm and could be the strongest hurricane to hit Florida since Hurricane Andrew in 1992. The storm, which is likely to make landfall in Florida at the weekend -
