Axa is calling for sanctions against claims management companies to be bolstered including doubling the maximum fine to £1m and giving the regulator power to shut down CMCs that are seen to be persistently flouting privacy rules.
The insurer today launched a report examining responses from more than 2000 consumers on communication from CMCs. The report also includes several recommendations of reform from the insurer.
