John McFarlane poised to land Aviva chairman role
John McFarlane, the former chief executive of the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group, is poised to take over from Lord Sharman as chairman as Aviva according to reports.
The Sunday Telegraph reports that Mr McFarlane has already been approved by the Aviva board, and the appointment ends a 10-month search.
