Former Standard Life MD to head up Barclays' insurance division
Barclays has appointed Paul McNamara as managing director of insurance and investments.
Mr McNamara joins from Standard Life, where he was managing director for group strategy and corporate finance.
He is tasked with building Barclays' profile in direct investments and making protection
