AIG former chairman Hank Greenberg trial begins
Former AIG chairman Hank Greenberg is set to go to trial today on charges of accounting fraud dating back 16 years.
Greenberg, 91, is accused of inflating AIG's loss reserves by $500m (£377m). He will face civil charges, with the possibility he could be forced to pay back millions in bonuses.
