China Pacific and Baidu to launch online insurer
China Pacific-owned China Pacific Property Insurance is teaming up with Chinese internet giant Baidu to launch an online car insurer.
The idea is to combine China Pacific's expertise on pricing and services with Baidu's use of data modelling and machine learning to try and tap China's large expanding motor internet insurance market
