85 insurers gain Guernsey licence in 2014
The Guernsey Financial Services Commission licensed 85 new international insurers during 2014 - 35% of which were UK-owned.
The 85 new licensees included eight limited companies, three protected cell companies, 54 PCC cells, five incorporated cell companies and 15 ICC cells.
Other than the UK, the entities' owners come
