Engagement ring fraudster jailed for 27 months
A conman who pawned his wife’s engagement ring and then falsely claimed for it on his insurance has been jailed for 27 months.
Colin Jarvie of Motherwell, Scotland, admitted a £100,000 fraud which included pawning his wife's engagement ring for £2 000 before claiming it was lost and receiving an £8 000 pay out from insurers.
