Indian health insurance dependent on income
Around 15% of Indian households have reported hospitalisation of one member at least once in the past year, according to an ICICI Lombard-NCAER survey.
According to IBN Live the study also reveals that confidence in managing health expenditure falls with a dip in family income levels.
The survey covered five lakh households and 32 states and union
