Labuan Re ratings affirmed after capital raising
AM Best has affirmed the financial strength rating of A- (Excellent) and issuer credit rating of 'A-' for Labuan Reinsurance.
The Malaysian insurer's ratings were placed on negative watch in December 2011 following "historic net losses" from the Thailand floods, and the firm's involvement in the run-off of Lloyd's Syndicate
