China Taiping exits NZ market amid rumours of reinsurance difficulties
China Taiping Insurance is withdrawing from the New Zealand market with immediate effect.
The New Zealand arm of the Hong Kong-based insurer had trouble obtaining reinsurance following the spate of natural disasters in the region, according to local media reports.
