Insurers slammed in Irish data protection report
The prosecution of three large insurers for breaking data protection laws feature highly in the 2012 annual report by Irish Data Protection Commissioner, the Irish Independent reported.
In a February last year Zurich Insurance, FBD Insurance and Travelers Insurance Company, pled guilty to 10 counts of violating the Data Protection Act at the Dublin District Court.
