XL appoints Gooding to board of directors
Ellen Thrower, who has served as an independent director of XL since 1995, will retire from the board effective immediately.
Valerie Gooding has been appointed to XL's board of directors, and the role will become effective at the company's April board meeting.
Commenting on the appointment, XL chairman Robert Glauber said:
