Assurant Solutions has appointed Christian Graville as European legal director.

As a member of the region's senior leadership team Mr Graville will be responsible for setting and driving the execution of the legal strategy for Assurant Solutions' European business unit encompassing the UK, Ireland, Italy, Spain and Germany, and ensuring it is aligned with the overall business strategy.

Assurant Solutions added that this represents a significant appointment for the business as Mr Graville will play a major role in directing the legal activities in each country and supporting client relationships across the region.

Drawing upon his international experience, Mr Graville will be mentoring his direct reports in each country to develop their skills further as well as ensuring that legal risks in key business decisions are managed effectively and efficiently.
