Wemmer to leave by the end of the year, says Zurich
Zurich has announced that Dieter Wemmer, its chief financial officer and regional chairman of Europe, is to leave the group by the end of the year to pursue new opportunities outside of the insurer.
Commenting on the announcement, Zurich CEO Martin Senn, said: "Dieter has made invaluable contributions in his many roles both in the business and finance functions. I want to thank him for his engagement and commitment during 25 years of dedicated and loyal service to Zurich."
Mr Wemmer has agreed to continue in both his roles until a successor is appointed.
