Multi-brand strategy moves a step closer at Aviva
Next month’s launch of an internet-only brand by Aviva could prove the first of many, according to UK general insurance CEO David McMillan, as the insurance giant remains optimistic of retaining a significant proportion of RAC’s 300 000 motor insurance customers.
Speaking to Post after today's sale of the roadside assistance business to Carlyle Group for £1bn, Mr McMillan also downplayed the £100m differential from the original purchase price of £1.1bn in 2005
