RSA reports £80m profit dip at group level

Insurer RSA has announced a group pre-tax profit of £474m for 2010 – down £80m on the figure for 2009.

RSA also saw its group combined operating ratio worsen to 96.4% (2009: 94.6%), despite an 11% increase in net written premiums to £7.5bn (2009: £6.7bn).

However, the insurer's international arm
