CIE a “significant step”
Roger Ball, head of commercial motor and motor trade, Allianz Commercial, said the news that the government is set to unveil a range of new measures which will make it an offence to be a registered owner of an uninsured vehicle, is a significant step in the fight against uninsured driving in the UK.
Mr Ball said: “CIE will be a huge benefit to the millions of motorists who pay for the cost of uninsured drivers and it is vital that commercial insurers play a role in advising their partners ahead
