Generali confirms new Italian boss after shake-up
As part of the re-organisation of the Assicurazioni Generali Corporate Centre, the company board of directors has approved the appointment of Paolo Vagnone as country manager for Italy, with the rank of general manager.
Mr Vagnone, 47, will coordinate the group's Italian insurance and banking operations and report to the group CEO Giovanni Perissinotto.
Mr Vagnone will take up the post in February 2011.
