Mild Q1 weather blamed for RIIG loss

Arrow going down

Resources in Insurance Group has blamed unusually mild weather conditions in the first quarter of the year for a loss of £696 581 in the first six months of this year.

The figure compares with a profit of £13 488 for the same period in 2011, but the firm noted that the high level of rainfall in the summer will be reflected favourably in the second-half results.
