ABI blames Spanish hospitals for unnecessary travel insurance payouts
British holidaymakers in possession of a European Health Insurance Card are being urged not to accept refusal of state medical treatment in Spain.
With more than 10 million Brits expected to visit Spain every year - of those, an estimated 30 a week require medical treatment in Spanish hospitals - the Association of British Insurers is warning
