Berkshire Hathaway's underwriting losses continued in Q2
(Re)insurance giant Berkshire Hathaway swung from a $337m (£258m) underwriting profit in the second quarter of 2016 to a $22m loss in Q2 2017.
Berkshire was hit by a combination of US personal lines insurer Geico chasing market share and paying out higher claims for injuries and property damage in addition to losses associated with Berkshire
