Esure unveils plan to ride out reinsurance rate rises

Esure is braced to weather out rising reinsurance costs this summer on the back of the discount rate change.

The insurer incurred only a £1m hit from the reduction of the rate to minus 0.75%, while other insurers like Aviva suffered a £385m blow.
