SSP accused of making 'wrong call' over decision not to use secondary data centre after outage

SSP has a backup data centre that wasn’t used when an outage occurred last week because of concerns that a modest amount of data would be lost, Post understands.

Normally in the event of an outage, service will seamlessly transfer to the secondary ‘mirror' data centre - which is identical to the main site in terms of hardware and operating capacity.
