Claimant legal bodies unite in bid to shape whiplash consultation

Three prominent legal bodies are joining forces in a bid to counter insurance industry-backed proposals to remove general damages from soft tissue injuries that will form part of a government consultation document.

The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, the Motor Accident Solicitors Society and the Law Society have teamed up to fight plans that they view as "a red line issue".
