Generali group CEO Mario Greco is seeking a "new business model" as the Italian insurer opens exclusive talks to buy UK-based telematics provider My Drive Solutions.

The idea behind the purchase is to give Generali access to more cutting-edge data analytics.

The company is also soon expected to unveil a new position of chief data officer who will report directly
