Fraud 2014: Government data security rules mean major challenges for My Licence

The government’s “incredibly restrictive” approach to personal data security has provided a major challenge for those working on the My Licence project, according to Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency CEO Oliver Morley.

Through My Licence, a data sharing programme, insurers and brokers will be able to obtain DVLA data on motoring convictions and penalty points when providing motor insurance quotes.
