Minimal losses expected from Iran earthquake
Significant losses are not expected following the powerful M7.8 earthquake that struck Iran on 16 April, according to catastrophe modelling firms.
AIR Worldwide said the quake, centred in south-eastern Iran, 30 miles from the Pakistan border, was felt as far as New Delhi and the Gulf States.
