Axa boss de Castries set for surprise move into politics
Axa’s group chief executive Henri De Castries could be in line for a shock move into government after reports linked him with the role of Minister for Economics - equivalent to the UK's Chancellor of the Exchequer.
Mr de Castries is rumored as a potential candidate to replace current French chancellor Jean-Louis Borloo, who as a key minister of President Nicolas Sarkozy's new government will replace Alain Juppé
