Despite some recent high-level appointments, women are still lagging behind men when it comes to senior roles in insurance.

The appointments of Inga Beale at Lloyd’s, Amanda Blanc at Axa and, most recently, Sian Fisher to head up the Chartered Insurance Institute might suggest that women have broken through the glass
