Insurers agree to pause Gap sales amid FCA probe
Multiple insurance firms have agreed to pause sales of guaranteed asset protection insurance, following a request from the Financial Conduct Authority.
The insurers that have agreed to this action account for 80% of the Gap market, according to the watchdog.
The regulator stated it will carry out a second tranche of engagement with the remaining 20%
