Claims Apprentice 2022: Episode four - ESG/sustainable claims challenge part one

This requires Team Build and Team Unite to devise a ‘sustainable claims’ solution which relates to an insurance company’s wider environmental, social and governance agenda and/or strategy.

They will then have to film a short video at the Infopro Digital studio - and create a complimentary flier - to explain and promote their solution.

These will be shown at the Insurance Post Claims Leaders’ Summit where attendees will be given funds to invest in the solution they judge to be the best.

The idea that raises the most money will ultimately be the winner.

But before we can get to the Summit - which will be featured in episode five - the teams are provided a new mentor to help them develop their ideas.

Team Build are to work with Deborah Newberry, Kennedys corporate affairs director.

Team Unite will receive help from Denise Eastlake, legal director in Kennedys’ London complex coverage team.

With the studio booked for just over 24 hours time the apprentices need to get their thinking caps on ASAP.

The big questions are:

  • Which apprentices might be required to dust off their acting chops?
  • Who might be required to go full action film trailer with their voiceover?
  • And once they have settled on an idea, what tone will the teams chose for their videos given the senior claims audience they are setting out to impress?

To find out who passes their screen test with flying colours and if anyone fluffs their lines, watch the episode now.
