Treasury delays transposition of IDD into national law
The Treasury has paused the implementation of the Insurance Distribution Directive, earning praise from insurers.
The announcement comes after the European Commission proposed pushing back the implementation date of the IDD to 1 October 2018, subject to approval from the European Parliament.
