To travel solo.

If you had a coat of arms, what would be on it?

The four symbols on the shield would be:

  • A book to symbolise reading, learning and the continuous improvement of myself. This is something that I am passionate about and I enjoy. I believe it is something we should all push for throughout our lives.
  • A running figure to symbolise health, exercise and movement. Exercise and being active are important to me and make me happy physically and mentally.
  • A aeroplane to symbolise travel. Travelling, seeing new countries, meeting new people, and learning about other cultures and history is something I enjoy and would love to do more of.
  • A group of people to symbolise family and friends. I appreciate having good people around me to enjoy these things with. I am grateful to have a great family and group of friends, and I hope to have a family of my own one day.

The motto on the coat of arms would be: “This too shall pass” – a quote that means a lot to me. It reminds me that nothing is permanent, so make the most of the good times, and hang in there during the not so good times

Who would play you in a six-part Netflix series based on your life?

Stacey Dooley, although she is not an actress. She is ginger-haired like myself, she comes across as fun and bubbly, and she’s involved in a lot of documentaries where she learns about how different people live. I find things like this very interesting.

Which people [either living or dead] would you invite to your dream dinner party?

  • David Attenborough – he would have a lot of amazing stories to tell from his travels throughout his life.
  • My grandmother – she passed away when I was only two, so I have no memories of her. I hear a lot of stories about her, and it sounds like she was a great woman, so it would be amazing to get to meet and speak with her.
  • Justin Bieber – I was a big fan of his when I was younger, and my 12-year-old self would hate me if I didn’t invite him.
  • Mohammad (Mo) Gawdat – Former chief business officer for Google X and now author and entrepreneur. He was a guest of a podcast I listen to, Diary of a CEO by Steven Bartlett, and it was my favourite episode. His story is so inspiring, and I think he would have great wisdom to share.

What song would you like to soundtrack your victory at Claims Apprentice 2022 should you win?

I Lived by OneRepublic. The message in the song is about taking opportunities and making the most of life. This is opportunity is something that is new to me – and outside of my comfort zone – but I am proud of myself for going for it.
