Halo is planning to seek new investment, six years after the car hire excess insurance specialist launched with Bridges Ventures, a social impact fund started by Sir Ronald Cohen.

Following the success of its I Car Hire Insurance brand the broker, which was the first winner of the Start-Up award at the British Insurance Awards in 2013, also unveiled its second business venture
